What this SEO FAQ covers
These are the questions Calabasas owners put to us in a first call, usually before they commit a dollar. Most come down to time, money and trust: how soon search pays off, what it costs and whether clients’ privacy stays safe.
We keep each answer short on purpose. If you want the detail, the pricing page lays out all three plans, while the Google Maps page explains the map results. For an outside view, Google’s own SEO Starter Guide covers the basics in plain terms too.
FAQ
SEO FAQ: timing, place names, privacy and cost
How soon does organic search start bringing in Calabasas clients?
Fixing errors on a Business Profile can show up inside a few weeks. Fresh pages, however, generally take a season or two to settle. The heavily contested categories here, such as med spas, luxury real estate and family law, take longer still.
Which Calabasas place names should our pages use?
The ones your clients type. Google’s suggestions show locals adding The Commons, Old Town, Calabasas Road, Las Virgenes and Mulholland to their searches. So we use those names wherever they are true for you, alongside “Calabasas, CA”, your 91301 or 91302 ZIP code and your 818 or 747 number. As a result, visitors and Google both see exactly where you work.
Many of our clients are private people. How do you handle reviews and photos?
Carefully. We never publish a client’s address or anything that identifies their home. Review replies stay general, and we pick project photos that show no recognizable property. In addition, review requests follow the FTC rules on endorsements, so there are no paid or filtered reviews.
Where do the monthly hours go?
First, we check how Calabasas is searching for your service and improve your pages and Business Profile. We also correct directory listings, add a page wherever a real gap exists and send a short report you can read over coffee. On the Pro plan we manage your Google Ads as well.
What does it cost?
$250, $350 or $550 a month in US dollars, with no long-term contract. After looking at your site and your competitors, we suggest one plan. If Starter covers what you need, then Starter is what we suggest. We quote design and speed work once, separately.
FAQ
Fire season, guarantees, ads and nearby towns
Does fire season change anything for local search?
It can. The city says all of Calabasas sits in a High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone. Searches like “calabasas fire evacuation map” and “calabasas fire insurance” also show how present the risk is. So we keep your hours and closure notices current on Google when plans change. For insurance, landscaping and building clients, we also write pages that answer fire-season questions plainly, without giving legal or insurance advice.
Can you promise us the top spot on Google Maps?
Nobody can promise that honestly. Map results depend partly on where the searcher is standing, so the order in Old Town differs from the order in Mont Calabasas or Hidden Hills. Instead, we work on what you can influence: a complete profile, relevant pages, genuine reviews and consistent listings.
Paid ads or organic search: which comes first?
If the appointment book is empty now, ads fill it faster, but the phone goes quiet when spending stops. Organic work is slower to start, but it lasts. Plenty of owners run a small campaign while pages mature, then shift money away from ads as unpaid leads pick up.
Do you also cover Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills or Westlake Village?
Yes, once your Calabasas footing is solid. Every added town then earns a page about real jobs you handle there. We never clone the Calabasas page and swap the place name.
Are prices in US dollars, and can we meet in person?
Every price is in USD, and billing is monthly. We work remotely by video call, phone and email, so there is no office in Calabasas to visit. Besides, nothing about the work requires one.
